Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern access to materials and data associated with the luqahpower site-light interaction study, operated by LuqahPower Research Ltd. By using this site or requesting access to study-derived data, you agree to these terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not access restricted datasets or submit requests via the intake procedures.
Scope and permitted uses
This site is presented as a neutral, descriptive interaction study documenting how sunlight movement, building orientation, roof geometry and shading objects interact to form spatial capture zones and internal routing candidates. Public materials and aggregated illustrations may be used for review, research, and reference provided attribution to LuqahPower Research Ltd. is maintained. Users may request de-identified observation packets under the data access protocol; such packets are provided for interpretive review and technical analysis only. Recipients of shared data must not represent the study outputs as professional design, installation guidance, or performance guarantees. Reuse of study-derived datasets for commercial offerings is subject to prior written agreement that addresses provenance, permitted use, and any confidentiality measures. These terms govern permitted uses and specify that the site content is informational, not prescriptive, and not a substitute for technical design or regulatory compliance activities performed by credentialed professionals.
Data access, de-identification and provenance
Data access requests are handled according to the procedures described on the contact and privacy pages. When a request is accepted, materials supplied may include horizon masks, facet orientation tables, capture polygon layers, routing sketches, and observation point records. Where personal or site-identifying information may be present, the study team applies de-identification steps prior to release; these steps may include cropping imagery, removing geolocation metadata, aggregating point samples, and redacting personal annotations. All shared datasets include provenance metadata that describe instruments, sampling cadence, and known limitations. Users receiving datasets agree to preserve provenance fields and to acknowledge measurement uncertainty in any derivative analyses. The study retains the right to refuse or impose access constraints where data sharing would violate confidentiality or legal restrictions, or where de-identification cannot reasonably protect privacy interests.
Intellectual property and content attribution
All original study content, diagrams, and curated imagery on this site are the intellectual property of LuqahPower Research Ltd., or used under licence from third-party providers. Users may reproduce limited excerpts for review or academic citation provided attribution to LuqahPower Research Ltd. is included and the content is not represented as promotional or as an endorsement of specific products or services. Requests to republish larger portions of the study or to use study assets in commercial contexts must be submitted in writing and may be subject to licensing terms. When the study incorporates third-party imagery, those images are used under the relevant stock provider licences and must not be redistributed separate from permitted contextual use on the site or in agreed data bundles. The terms do not grant rights to proprietary third-party tools or data models referenced as part of methodological discussion; users should consult the original providers for rights and licences applicable to those materials.
Limitations of liability and disclaimers
The content provided on this site is descriptive and intended for technical reference. LuqahPower Research Ltd. disclaims any warranties, express or implied, regarding the suitability of site content for specific purposes. The site does not provide professional installation, safety, regulatory or financial advice. Users relying on study outputs do so at their own risk and are expected to engage qualified professionals to assess building-specific compliance and safety matters. To the extent permitted by law, LuqahPower Research Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of site materials or shared datasets. Liability for direct damages arising from material breach of these terms is limited to the reasonable costs of the recipient's access request where applicable. These limitations are intended to preserve the study’s role as a neutral reference while encouraging appropriate technical verification before any on-site intervention.
